At ZIMSA, we offer a variety of structured programs and courses designed to support students, parents, and teachers on their Suzuki journey. Each initiative reflects our commitment to nurturing musical potential, fostering community, and promoting the values of the Suzuki philosophy across Zimbabwe and the region.
Teacher Training
We offer accredited training courses designed for both aspiring and experienced music educators in Zimbabwe. These programs follow the standards of the European Suzuki Association (ESA) and equip teachers with the philosophy, techniques, and practical tools needed to effectively teach using the Suzuki Method. Participants benefit from mentorship, hands-on practice, and continuous professional development opportunities.
Student Enrichment
ZIMSA provides a wide range of enrichment activities for young musicians, including workshops and recitals.
These experiences allow students to deepen their musical skills, perform in supportive environments, and connect with peers. Our goal is to nurture well-rounded learners who find joy, confidence, and discipline through music.
Current Events
ZIMSA is not running any courses at present but there are exciting plans afoot to collaborate with the South African Suzuki Association on courses to be taught by a team of teacher trainers from Belgium.
